Why I Started Lowenfall
This is the beach where it all began. I was just sat on the sand taking it all in.
This is my absolute favourite place to see the sun setting. Porthcothan, on the north coast of Cornwall. One of the 'seven bays for seven days' that are positioned along the coast to the west of Padstow.
This photo was taken by me on 17 May 2025. I was just sat on the sand taking it all in.
This is the beach where it all began.
I can hear the laughter from all the happy memories spent on this beach over the years. All the times paddleboarding at high tide and having barbeques and of course swimming and seeing the sun drop over the horizon and gone for another day. Bliss.
So why did I start Lowenfall?
I decided to follow my passion and I was lucky enough to have the space to do this. I had stepped back from my professional career in March 2025 completely lost as to what to do next. I took 18 months out and this space helped me realise that this was an opportunity to listen to my heart — and it told me to embrace what I love: nature and adventure.
I wanted to be able to capture all my adventures in one place with meaning, not just as an endless scroll of my phone. And I wanted to create a brand that oozes nature and adventure.
This is the start of the next chapter for me and I am just following my heart all the way. xxxx
