Spending Lowenfall with Friends and Family

There are just some days that are made out of magic. They just have it all.

This was a best friend's birthday at Trevone — one of the 'seven bays for seven days'. We had had a mermaid pool swim, then swam with friends in the sea. We then had a few drinks, a few friends left, and it was just four of us and our five kids — four of whom had gone out on a paddleboard and beached off on that large rocky peninsula you can see in the photo. They had decided to watch the sunset from there.

We were slightly panicked about whether they were safe, but with an outgoing tide we need not have worried, and they eventually paddled back in.

The colours were just indescribable that night and I hope I have captured it as best I could with this photo. We laughed all evening and finally packed up the car in the dark and headed home.
