Privacy Policy

Every entry you log on Lowenfall is private to your account by default. Nobody else can browse your log, search your entries, or see your reflections — not other users, not us.

When you choose to share an adventure, you do so on your own terms. Each entry has its own unique link that you can send to friends and family via WhatsApp, text, or however you like. That link lets people view and comment on that single entry — nothing else in your log is exposed.

When you create an account we store your name and email address so you can sign in and access your log. Your password is hashed — we never store it in plain text and cannot read it.

For each adventure entry we store the details you provide: location, date, mood, activity, companion, reflection, photos, and ratings. This data is tied to your account and is not shared with any third party.

We do not use advertising networks, sell your data, or share it with anyone outside of what is needed to run the platform.

Photos you upload are stored securely and are only accessible via the unique link for that entry. If you share an entry link, the recipient can see the photos attached to it. If you do not share the link, the photos remain private.

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

We may collect basic, anonymised usage data (such as page views) to understand how the platform is being used and to improve it. This data cannot be used to identify you.

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and all associated entries at any time. To do so, email us at [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are based in the UK or EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data.

If we make meaningful changes to how we handle your data we will let you know by email before those changes take effect.
